Walks Shouldn’t Feel Like a Tug-of-War
When a smaller dog pulls, a traditional collar can concentrate all that force around their neck.
You pull back. They pull harder. And instead of enjoying the walk, you are worrying about coughing, choking or whether you are hurting them.
The TailTonix Comfort Control Harness gives you another way. Attach the lead at the front to help redirect their movement while the padded harness spreads pressure across the chest rather than focusing it around the throat.
More control for you. Less worry for both of you.
Control the Pull. Not Their Throat.
The front D-ring changes where the lead connects. When your dog moves ahead, the front attachment helps guide their body back towards you instead of allowing them to drive straight forward. It will not replace consistent lead training, but it can make pulling feel easier to manage while reducing the need to tug against your dog’s neck.
Better Front-Clip Control
The front lead attachment helps redirect forward movement, giving you more control when your dog becomes excited or starts pulling.
Pressure Away From the Neck
The harness is designed to spread lead pressure across the chest rather than concentrating it around the throat like a traditional collar.
Back Clip for Relaxed Walks
Once your dog is walking calmly, attach the lead at the back for a more traditional everyday setup.
Soft, Lightweight Comfort
The padded design helps reduce harsh pressure points while staying light enough for comfortable everyday walks.
Made With Smaller Dogs in Mind
A harness can technically be available in a small size and still feel too bulky for a smaller dog.
Thick straps, heavy buckles and awkward proportions can sit badly around short legs, narrow bodies and deeper little chests.
TailTonix is designed to give smaller dogs the control and security of a harness without making them feel weighed down.
The soft padded design sits around the chest, while the adjustable strap helps you create a closer, more comfortable fit.
Small enough to feel comfortable. Strong enough for sudden pulls.
Comfort That Lasts Beyond the First Five Minutes
A harness should not just feel soft when you first put it on. It needs to remain comfortable while your dog walks, turns, sniffs and explores. TailTonix uses soft padding at the main contact points to help reduce hard edges pressing against your dog’s body. A correct fit also helps prevent the harness from shifting towards the legs or sitting too loosely around the chest.

Frequently Asked Questions
The front attachment is designed to help redirect your dog when they move ahead, making pulling easier to manage. It is a walking and training aid rather than an instant cure, so the best results come when it is combined with consistent lead training.
Measure around the widest part of your dog’s chest and compare it with our size chart. Do not choose using breed or weight alone. Also check the neck measurement, particularly when your dog falls between S and M.
The harness is intended for small and medium dogs with chest measurements between 36 and 61 cm. This can include Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Jack Russells, Cavaliers, Pugs, French Bulldogs, Beagles, Cocker Spaniels and similarly sized crossbreeds.
The front D-ring should sit in the centre of the chest. The body strap should sit behind the front legs without pressing directly into the armpits.
The harness should feel snug enough that it does not shift freely, while still allowing approximately two fingers beneath the straps. Check the fit regularly, particularly with puppies and dogs whose weight changes.
Yes. Use the front attachment when you need more help redirecting pulling, or use the back attachment for calmer everyday walks.
Yes. The neck section passes over the head before the body strap is fastened. Introduce it slowly with treats when your dog is nervous about wearing new equipment.
The harness includes soft padding to support everyday comfort, but correct sizing and positioning are essential. Make sure the straps sit behind the front legs and check regularly for movement or irritation.
